Description:

Once I entered late-game (early-modern era), after I've played a few turns into loading a save, at the start of a new turn, the model of a naval unit I was controlling will disappear. It still exists in the tile it was before and I can move it, however the movement indicator appears to show that the unit is moving from somewhere off screen, even though the movement cost is still based on where the unit actually is supposed to be. Later in the turn, the audio/music will start to glitch out and hitch, sounding heavily distorted for a minute or so before cutting out entirely. Once the audio cuts out entirely, the game will slow down and intermittently freeze before eventually crashing to desktop.

Steps:

1. Load save after advancing and adopting Spanish culture

2. Play a few turns

3. New turn will start and a naval unit will disappear, rest of issues will happen over the course of attempting to finish the turn

Reproducibility:

4/5 (?) I've only played one game so far, trying to finish out this current game before I start a new one to see if it happens on another run.

PC Specs:

Ryzen 1700X

16 GB RAM

RX 580 8GB

Driver version: 20.11.2

Game is on an MX500 1 TB SSD

Attached is a couple of save files, will happen to any save file I have once I either started playing as Spanish or once I received a Privateer unit from a discovery. I believe both happened with a couple turns of each other.

I also am getting late game crashes (every 5-7 turns) with audio distortion and naval unit disappearing as the poster above. Currently crashed on turn 134 (been happening since turn 103). I've been monitoring my CPU and GPU usage. CPU is constantly under 40%. My GPU spikes on the 3D usage but the overall  dedicated GPU memory and shared GPU memory have been 80% or below.

I normally wait 1-2 minutes to see if the application will start responding again, if it doesn't (about 60% of the time) then I will force close from task manager. I will load up the latest save and it will play fine, audio distortion goes away and naval units reappear. Everything is fine and dandy for another couple of turns. A point to note, the crash isn't coming on a turn end, it can be just city cycling or queuing up districts/etc... Just because I experience this playing Civ 6 on PS4 and switch, most of my map is uncovered and I do have the toggle on for hex/districts and occasionally the yields displayed (in Civ, once you launch the earth satellite and all the resources are uncovered, the game stops and does the same thing where it will crash every couple of turns).

Reproducibiliy: (5/5) it has been consistent on my current game (first playthrough) every couple of turns

PC Specs:

i7-6800K CPU

GTX 980 Ti

16GB RAM

Running DirectX 12_1

Updated the Humankind game version last time I loaded so the version number is V0.13.0135-S2 build 119060.

Edit: crashing every 2 turns past turn 138.

Edit 2: every 1 turn past 144. ;-/ just want to get to 150.
