I dont know if it was posted already but I got a bug were I have an event but there is no pop up to acesss it so I can't end turn when you click the button to show you the event it should just bring up the event as well.

It sounds like the "your people require your attention" notice. The answer is that you click on the right end of the city name banner. Usually the banner is an indented pennant. When this problem occurs the banner is squared off and you click on the banner. It's a civics issue. A foreign neighbor has one of the same civics as you, but made a different choice. The citizens are asking you to change the civics decision to match the foreign neighbor. You have the choice to accept or reject the change.

I also missed it. It's hidden in plain view. Hard to see the detail without zooming in AND knowing where to look.
