Before saving the game I had the auto-resolve selector set to "on". After loading the game, the selector shows "off". Engaging into new battles will still auto-resolve. 

Clicking on the Button in the next Battle had no effect on the selector button at first. My guess is, it switched auto-resolve to "off". After I clicked again, the button switched to "on" as expected.
