Drifting camera (UPDATE: SOLVED)

On the main map, my camera is constantly drifting north-west (without any button being pressed).
Everything indicates that the game is acting as if my «a» and «w» keys were constantly being pressed (I can however type normally in textboxes).
This is especially visible in UI's containing any type of scrolling list. Upon opening the interface, the scrolling list will automatically place itself on the leftmost item (or the upmost item if the list is vertical).

I have tried:
- using a different keyboard and mouse.

- closing and re-opening the program.

- creating a second game.

- uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game.

- using the «verify integrity of game files» option on steam

None of the above had any effect on the bug, and steam didn't find any integrity issue.

UPDATE: I was able to solve the problem by uninstalling one of my controller's driver. Looking at people's comment on the problem, I think it is always caused by some kind of controller issues. Thank you all for helping me out!!

I am having the same problem with drift and mouse seems to not be working right. Unplayable.

I just upgraded my Geforce RTX driver. No change.

I am have a similar problem, except my drift is Southeast. I tried disabling the XBOX 360 controller through steam to no avail.

UPDATE:

Unplugging my HOTAS and wireless controller USB receiver has solved this issue.

I have the same problem as OP. It isn't just the camera, there is a constant up+left input being read. Menus scroll up as well.

If I go to the Gamepad Settings, I can see the control settings for the Gamepad change whenever the Mouse is in motion (and then change back when the Mouse stops). Unplugging the mouse does not fix this though, nor does reinstalling the game or restarting the computer.

I'm not sure gamepad is fully supported yet, someone fixed it by unplugging it and playing by mouse, but if I understand you dont use any

Otherwise I had some similar issue where the game thought i was pressing the Windows key which prevented me to use some shortcut (camera translation) as it thought I was pressing both keys which didn't map to hte actual shortcut I wanted.

This was caused by pressing Windows key + space for switching keyboard setting and was fixed by pressing Window again and clicking back into it

Hope it helps

Pressing the Windows key does stop my drift, but reselecting the game for any reason continues the drift. Alt+tabbing does not stop the drift.

I was able to stop the drift by plugging in a controller, since the controller now was being read correctly. It seems the drivers for the controller are causing the drift when there is no controller to be read...

Unfortunately, deleting those drivers didn't solve the problem, so perhaps I am wrong. But I suppose I will have to keep the controller plugged in for now!

Had the same problem with my HOTAS. An option in the settings menu "ignore game controller' or something in that trend would be nice!
