My game was crashing at the loading screen too but now it works.

That is what i did :
-Look if Your Firewall blocked a file ( Avast did this to me )
-Put an exception in your firewall if that's the case ,

- In Steam ,verify the integrity of the Humankind game files ( right click on the game --->Properties--->Local files ).
If there is an error ,Steam will re-download the missing file. 

Relaunch the game.

Deleting the hunankind folder from documents worked where so many other workarounds didn't.

I have been searching for a fix for this! After trying so many other things this was the one that worked. Thanks!

I found a solution (at least for me)

Go to C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Temp

And delete the "AMPLITUDE Studios" folder. After this it worked for me!

Nothing worked for me so  i swapped with my GF and on her laptop all works well lolz xD way weaker machine but i can play! yeeey!
