I was seeing this too, and found I could not modify files in my Users directory for Humankind. I ended up deleting old saves from the Lucy opendev and turning my OneDrive synching back on. Not sure which step worked, but the game now runs for me. Hope this helps your situation!

Deleting the hunankind folder from documents worked where so many other workarounds didn't.

I found a solution (at least for me)

Go to C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\Temp

And delete the "AMPLITUDE Studios" folder. After this it worked for me!
