[PC/Epic]Can't start the game from epic game store client

Game crash when entering the startup screen. I follow the instructions that delete game folder in "My Documents", but it won't work. I noticed there was a diagnostics file in game folder, that's the content. Anyone could help? (Sorry about my poor English...)

I have this same issue! I'm not entirely sure how this is possible but it is a clearly documented EOS issue.


58005 errors.com.epicgames.oauth.scope_consent_required

58005errors.com.epicgames.oauth.scope_consent_requiredThe user has not consented to required scopes.Mismatch between SDK request and Client features
SolutionSDK needs to be initialized with same scopes at EOS Client on Dev Portal. Fix client code and/or Dev Portal to match.


I bought the Digital Deluxe Edition on Dec 12th 2020. I've (as far as I can tell) fully removed all Humankind related files on my computer and reinstalled both the Launcher and the game itself but continue to get the same errors.

The CorrId for the OAuth request from my logs for reference: EOS-OXmMyqouDUKc_zl0kzQOQw-481PBwT52USKGwCCZP_ngA-JF_Oo4GEbUWOW4E2wSQfkw

In order for us to fully investigate this issue we need the following:


- Your diagnostics logs. These are time stamped, and any time you close and relaunch the game, new ones are started. Please grab all diagnostics logs and upload them in your message. These are by default located:

o PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Temporary Files


- Information about the system you are playing on. To get this information:

o PC: From the Windows desktop, press the Windows and R keys to open the Run window. In the Open: field of the Run window, type dxdiag. Click OK or the Enter key to open the DirectX* Diagnostic Tool. o Mac: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203001

I'm having the same issue:

Having the same issue with same Error on the stack


Pre-Ordered Game End of 2020, All drivers, Frameworks and Windows are up-to-date. Never played the beta - fresh install.

Any chance to see a fix in the next time? (Or a workaround for local Single Player?)

This one is on epic side, we're working with them to fix this.


Sadly, week ends doesn't speed things up.
