this diagnostic report looks identical to mine with the same problem. ( i have seen different reports with same reported problem)

Have the same problem with starting with black screen and then crashing back to desktop.
For me it looks more like a authentication problem between the Epic Games Launcher and the game itself.
I already deleted the webcache, started as administrator, installed latest graphic driver, etc.
Currently I'm a little frustraded... Epic Game Support couldn't help either.
Hope they find a fix soon.

unfortunately not - i see the intro - the loading screen with the hand on right side - after screen i see  black screen with loading mouse icon. After this game is closing and i am on desktop....  i also played BETA - never had this problem before

i have tried launching the game from the game folder with the same results as before the update.

still unable to launch the game. my Epic ID is Nielar Olorin. there is no diagnostic file since the game won' even try to launch from the Epic launcher.
