If you have any saves from just before the issue appeared, and just after, they would be very helpful to us!

Your saves are by default located:
PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Save Files

Diagnostics logs are also helpful! These are time stamped, and any time you close and relaunch the game, new ones are started. Please grab all diagnostics logs related to the session you were playing where the issue occurred. These are by default located:
PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Temporary Files

Alright then:

Save previous to the problems:

Soviets Turn 411.ctr

Save after the apparition of the graphical bug:

Soviets Turn 427 b.ctr

It is of note however that I think that the problems started to appear for me even before the update if I'm not misremembering

Also the Diagnostics:

Diagnostics (2021'08'30 @1737'03''859''').html

Diagnostics (2021'08'30 @1741'49''979''').html

Also my map editor seemingly doesn't work. It doesn't allow me to edit the maps I've created

I managed to replicate the bug. For me, the problem occurs when I change the calendar in a running game and reload the game.

I can fix this by setting the calendar as it was at the beginning of the game and loading another savegame (sometimes I have to load different ones until the bug disappears).

What calendar?

By "calendar", do you mean the date on my PC?

It looks like the game has a big issue with RAM management, districts going to disappear, if the game reachs the RAM capacity of the computer, the game may take 15+ GB RAM, which is exceptional. I could "fix" the issue of disapeparing districts by adding a pagefile by 64GB in addition to my 32GB RAM. The change is retroactive, meaning if you freeup RAM, disappeared districts may reappear during game.

Same issue happened to me as well, immediately after all of my Cothon districts went invisible. It wasn't like district images went missing but rather it looked like some districts are swallowed by pollution mud. The problem was that I had not researched anything that cause pollution yet and there was no pollution indication anywhere in my cities. It has all come back to normal after I closed the game and verified install files through Steam, except now red cross on top of the badge of eliminated Green Aztecs went missing.

This is before my Cothon districts went invisible : Turn 152 - Mughals - Raze Memphis.ctr

This is where Cothon districts went invisible       : Turn 153 - Mughals - Cothon Sprites Missing.ctr

Before Pollution Mud appears                           : Mughals End Turn 154.ctr

After Pollution Mud                                          : Turn 155 - Mughals - Mud Appeared Everywhere.ctr

and all Diagnostics files available:

Thanks Tsenna, this worked partially for me, now more stuff is visible -- changed from system managed page file to custom, 20000 - 100000 MB and rebooted.   I've tried changing graphics modes, windows modes, everything, nothing helps except the page file.  So probably not graphics memory, some sort of caching bug.

I did find some logs where the save files are documented to be, the logs looks like it's really struggling with memory.  Attached below save files, logs, and diagnostic files.

Started a new game on small map instead of the default of normal, haven't had any problems there and gameplay is pretty similar.

Maybe this is related, it tries to unload unused assets but has nothing left unused - will attach:

Unloading 24 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Loaded Objects now: 355428.

Total: 908.771900 ms (FindLiveObjects: 17.400600 ms CreateObjectMapping: 16.286300 ms MarkObjects: 873.027600 ms  DeleteObjects: 2.057100 ms)

Unloading 0 unused Assets to reduce memory usage. Loaded Objects now: 355428.

Total: 901.960000 ms (FindLiveObjects: 17.050700 ms CreateObjectMapping: 16.565000 ms MarkObjects: 866.990900 ms  DeleteObjects: 1.352200 ms)

Exact same issue here:

Districts model missing in game in later eras. When first entering the save file after staring the game, a few districts is missing here and there. After reloading the exact same save file, massive missing distrcts is experienced. This makes the game completely unplayable in later eras. Here's an example:

Player.logDxDiag.txtDiagnostics (2021'09'08 @1528'40''061''').html

This is a severe bug that eliminates the joy of playing the game. To be honest what's the point of building stuff when you can't even see them nor know what they are?

My observations:

-> The issue present with ALL my game saves. (aka. not save file specific and can be reproduced in any save file)

-> After restarting the game the first load will results in less missing districts (but some still missing)

-> Reloading saved games after the initial load will cause massive missing (to the point of entirely unplayable)

-> I have 32 GB of memory and the usage never exceeds 40% during gameplay. So running out of memory is not the cause.

-> Players in earlier posts reported they're using Nvidia cards where I'm using AMD. So unlikely a card/ driver issue.

I have observed this bug for quite a while now (since my fist game) and have kept waiting for an update to fix. Sadly the recent 2 updates didn't touch this game-breaking issue at all. Again. I appreciate all the efforts of the dev team and don't get me wrong, I love this game. That's why I created an account just to report this issue.

But, at the end of the day, this needs to be addressed ASAP. Spending the full price on a game I'm not even to finish the late game -- is just not something acceptable.

I'm also experiencing this issue... I'm glad to see the devs have acknowledged it, although I'd love to see it listed in the known bugs thread (since that would have prevented me creating separate posts and bumping small (existing) ones.

I'm also having this issue in my saves now. Hopefully this is addressed soon. I was building something absolutely beautiful with my capital city....RIP.

I'm afraid to start another long game like this now. A small bug but a total fun killer.

They always asking for diagnostic files are funny because they could see the problem them self if they played the game.

Seen people giving diagnostic files but never get any reply.

Hello everyone! I've found a workaround for this bug - you need to enact Communal Rites choice in the Religious Rites civic and start "Procession" action in the city. It forces a tile reload on the troubled city and cures the visual glitch.
