N.B. - I posted in steam discussions too before seeing dev post about this site; apologies in advance...

Dutch emblem unit, Fluyt, not buildable after several turns of researching required tech, even when having Cothon (Carthaginians) or Harbor built in territory - have tried multiple territories with harbors as well

Also noticing I still have Ghanian camel cavalry...?Dutch fluyt missing.zip

I expected to be able to build the fluyt to expand on islands but cannot build it for some reason.

Steam: v1.0.01.0059-s10

64-bit standalone build

Main save (manual) and two prior auto-saves attached

I did delete game files before launching release version the other day (before first foray with release version)

Someone in steam discussions saw it:

Fluyt is not buildable; it's a unit state after going into ocean.

Cog is buildable because it's worse though??

Boarding vehicle means units take damage in them (according to wiki), but if you're the dutch, wouldn't the fluyt make the cog obsolete?

If it weren't for the point-out, I would have never caught that on my own...

Sorry for wasting space; it wasn't clear/obvious to me though

'Naval Transport' units are what your land units change to when you send them on water. Cog is proper ship that can be used to attack those land units moving across sea tiles, because proper fleets tend to be stronger than contemporary transport ships. It is a Medieval ship, though, so it won't compare that well with an Early Modern transport.

EDIT: 'Boarding Vessel' is a ship that instead of using ranged attack has to swim close to another unit on sea to attack it. If said unit would move away, then it would take damage, because of its 'Boarded' status.
