this exception after firing multiple nukes in one turn, had to reload previous autosave

That's a common issue a lot of us are having.  Incidentally, it might be similar to one I was having.  Did any of the nukes manage to go off and destroy a city?


If you have a little time and can reload just prior to the turn where it hangs, you can experiment to see what specific action is causing it.  Trigger one launch, for example, and then quickly progress to the next turn.  If it doesn't hang, reload and try the next launcher, and so on and so forth until you find the glitch.  If might be the target, it might be the launcher, it might be a few things.

One nuke went off but the other two did not fire, on the topic of nukes I have the issue that sometimes the game wont let me fire them at all, it just says city not valid even if I'm at war with them and have sight of the city.

The game can be a little... unintuitive when it comes to troubleshooting why X does Y or why I can't do Z.


For example, it took me ten minutes to figure out that the reason I couldn't build my ICBM test site where I wanted to was because "There are already districts present here" really meant that the two nature preserves I had on the coast were blocking my placement. Which, side note, is why I kind of hate that you can't remove districts without actually carpet-bombing them into ruins...
