  • Description:
despite all my attempts there is no possibility to counter pollution always leading to the end of humanity.
I have litterally built forest everywhere but it seems Forest doesn't remove pollution as it is said in the description.
This is the sole solution to counter properly the pollution.
For long lasting game it is a game breaker.

  • Attachments:
not needed it is a mechanic of the current version

  • Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Create a lot of pollution // 2. remove everything that is creating pollution // 3. Build a lot of forest instead // 4. Dying suffocating anyway

  • Expected Behavior: More control on the pollution level maybe by building Forests or any devices or recurent festivals in cities.
This is as today game breaker for long lasting games.

Well, bug or feature? The future limit was maybe intended as the short future from today and currently there is no deep enough understanding of how pollution is destroying our world and no true solution, just the observations that 1) It does destroy it and 2) Our grim little sister Venus that might be the future we are heading towards.

True, this may not be a happy end you might expect as a gamer and it might impact your enjoyment of the game, but maybe it is more truthful towards the reality of the world we are living in. At least it will make you aware that pollution will end our world and that the challenge of our generation is to buy enough time and raise enough awareness for future generations to find a solution we simply do not have the time (and awareness/interest) to find in our lifetime.

Countering pollution is simply too far into science fiction for a scope like the one of humankind.

Now, maybe it is simply a forgotten aspect of the game but it would make sense to be intended. At least to me.

I somehow like the poetry of this behavior ^^

But i also think that giving the hand to a player dedicated to remove the pollution is a good way to teach everyone that being active can be a salvation too ;)

and on top of that it would make sense to the endless games or last man standing game mechanic.

Thank you for your replay anyway i liked your point of view :)
