While I was at war with the Blue empire, I met Pink. At this point in the war, I occupied one city belonging to Blue, which had 2 territories attached to it. Pink then demanded I cede one of the territories attached to the city I was occupying. I saved, then accepted the demand. Now pink fully owned the territory they demanded, even though I had only occupied it in the war and didn't outright own it. This feels like Pink shouldn't have been able to make that demand, and I should not have been able to accept.

If needed I can provide a save, but this doesn't seem like something that originates from strange circumstances. It seems like it might be something baked in accidentally. I'm sure that this could lead to Pink declaring war on me if I refuse to give them Blue's territory that I am occupying. I can also think of ways this could be exploited to 'conquer' territories from two empires at war without being at war yourself as long as they think you are stronger.
