It is possible to stack multiple units in a single hexagon during the fight, if their move order is obscured by enemy unit previously hidden in fog of war.
Expected Behavior
Units either return to their previous spot, go to the closes unoccupied spot and the move is disallowed for other units until the end of the battle turn to avoid further abuse of known enemy unit behind FoW.
Screenshots
I do not have sufficiently old save to attach and no screenshots were made during the siege, but here is a brief illustration of how I managed to stack units.
Red hexagon - location of enemy units, the one with white "x" is hidden behind FoW
Green hexagon - location of my unit, place where I am about to stack more units
Pink arrow - attack order for my other unit. It is going to be interrupted on green haxagon because next move is obscured by enemy unit in FoW, causing the stack to happen.
I managed to stack 8+ units in this exact hexagon and won the fight without any causalities after the stack was done due to chokepoint.
The climb uphill looks very sketch, but game allowed both Great Swordmen and Meharists to execute this or similar move.
