The game seems prone to desyncs between me and my wife, who play next to each other on our LAN (using the integrated Steam Fiend Invite system), unfortunately this is much like our past experience with Endless Legend. This creates A LOT of reloads to resync, which is ok, but now...
When we end our turns, the game fails to process the end of turn. And the only way to resolve is to save and reload, then it processes the end of that turn. Then, when we go to end the next turn... we get to repeat the lovely cycle (i.e. not the "Very rarely, there can be a long hangtime between turns." cited in the Known Issues). This (and the unsurprising desync issues) were happening occasionally for the first portion of our game, but now it's quite literally every single turn, not exaggerating.
On the plus side, we're not desyncing... I guess?? Was really hoping the LAN/networking would be less crummy with this iteration of Amplitude's 4X titles.
