I declared war, took one city, and two turns later the AI offered to surrender. I have 96 war support, they have 92. But I'm not allowed to reject their offer of surrender. The cancel button is greyed out. The text wrongly claims I'm forcing the surrender on them, but I didn't initiate the surrender deal, don't want it, and if I understand the war support mechanics properly, this shouldn't happen until they reach zero.
I had this happen to me several times. I had a neighbor that I needed to get rid of and it took me 3 wars to take 3 cities because of this exact reason. I already despise all force surrender/force peace mechanics in many games because it often ruins the fun of everything when you are forced to stop a war for a stupid and nonsensical reason. If they keep this system, they need to at least fix the problem you have shown us. This has to be a bug right?
