I've enjoyed the game very much so far, but one annoying bit is that I can't seem to get airstrikes to work. There are planes in the "support" tab when in combat. I click on one that has an open attack option. The curser changes to the multiple hex highlighter. But I click on a territory and it makes a sound, but nothing happens. There's never any attack.
I had the same issue. Event if it's not satisfactory, I find a solution : Go out of the battlefield, select the air squadron on your aerodrome ; Click on the bomb button, select the target and shoot.
one of my fleet has been attacked. This fleet contains an aircraft carrier with two fighters. But I am not able to use this fighters during the combat. I reloaded and disabled the air patrol. But I can't use the fighter during the combat. I can find only one fighters under the support button. But I can't click on the air strike button. And were is the second fighter? Can somebody help me?
Go to the only battle that is happening in the turn
Click on support
click the bomb button
try to select any enemies on the battle field
Result:
No bombing run is initiated, even though the clicking sound is heard
This has happened in every game I've used planes in, and the only workaround is to select the airport itself and click on the bombing run button from there.
