Hello, Just want to let you know of some issues I encountered trying to use the Map editor after applying the Beta Patch.

Quite a few things that were previously fine now don't pass validation. Of concern in particular is ALL resources must be on land, including Pearls. This means Oil fields in shallow water are no longer possible, as well as Ambergis and Pearls being no longer placeable on coastal tiles.

The Perito Moreno Glacier can only be placed on water now. That's probably intentional but it invalidates maps that had it placed on land.

Hydrothermal Vents can now only be placed on land, which doesn't make sense to me.

Basically the update broke all my maps (just like last time), however this time there are a lot of changes which don't make sense.

Please don't ruin the Map Editor. I love it!

just to confirm the issue.

you can still manually extract and edit the descriptor file to remove the (incorrect) failure flags, and the map will load again, but it's a pain...

Is there a guide anywhere on how to do that? Because I have no idea. Either way it's a shame that every update breaks all the custom maps. But this one in particular did dumb things.

This still is an issue.
I cannot validate maps in the editor, even without changes, although the maps do work when not being loaded into the editor.
