I have done the same. I took out the Americans in the late game and they had 2 Vassals. Last I saw Americans are Expansionist and the AI Persona said Expansionist.

In order for us to fully investigate this issue we need the following:

- The save before and after you won the war agaisnt the Empire with two vassals. Your saves are by default located:

o PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Save Files

o Mac: This is hidden in the Libraries folder. You will need to do an internet search to find specific steps for your OS. Once the libraries folder is revealed, they are in /library/ application support/humankind/Save Files

Expansionist empires just left their vassals before i win them(

Seems to work, I got it versus Beowulf as the early Persians. (he had vassalized his only neighbor on his island)

He had 7 stars, good thing he didn't switch to medieval era.

yes, it's not bugged. I got it week ago.
