Mississippian Culture, a special trait (Raider's Ardor ) does not work for the unit  "Cahokia Raiders".

example: I kill 6 units of the enemy (England) during the battle, but no 1 Cahokia Raiders  gets +6 combat power. provided that the battle continues and the enemy, for example, has 10 more units. Instead, one raider gets + 3 strength, the other + 2, the third unit nothing. So either the description doesn't match the effect, or it's an error.

And "Sacred Mound" does not have the status of a market or a quarter of manufacturers. And does its -50% Industry cost reduction of adjacent Districts effect work? I have not seen that neighboring districts were built cheaper, it is not displayed anywhere.

Regarding "Raider's Ardor" in the current version [PC/STEAM, 1.0.20.3629]:

1. The description doesn't specify the bonus (which is 2 CS per unit killed). pretty common issue but can be ignored for now.

2. The description infers that all units with "Raider's Ardor" will get the bonus when an enemy is killed (even if none of them was the killer), where it actually applies only to the killer unit that has the trait.

3. The bonus only shows up in the UI when the killer unit attacks on a later round, so I am not sure if the CS increases instantly on kill or on battle round end, also not sure if it applies while the unit is defending as well which the description infers it should.

Attachments:

Save file: Mississippians Turn 115 Raider's Ardor.ctr

Screenshots:

Cahokia Raider who killed 3 enemies in the battle gets the bonus on attack:

UI of the Cahokia Raider who killed 3 enemies in the battle which doesn't show any increase in CS which in turn doesn't clarify if it applies on defense:

Another Cahokia Raider who didn't receive the Raider's Ardor bonus since the bonus is not shared as inferred from the trait description:

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load attached save file // 2. attack Babylon city with the Cahokia Raiders army // 3. Kill some enemies with Cahokia raiders and observe their Raider's Ardor bonuses on later rounds. Kill only one or two enemy per round for better observation.

Expected Behavior:

Either:
Trait "Raider's Ardor" description should change to better describe that it applies only to this unit and clarify that it only applies when attacking.

Or:

give the bonus to all units with the trait even if they were not the killer as the description implies, and show in the UI that the bonus is added to CS so that it will apply to the unit even in defense.

Or a mix of those,

And maybe:

show the bonus value in description.

Seconding this.  Thanks for the investigation, Romani0.  I used the Raiders in a recent game and was very disappointed to see that the Raider's Ardor bonus only applied to the unit that performed the kill (and I might have seen that it only applies once and doesn't stack? That may have been the Nazca Head Hunter, though, it's been a while)

Can confirm that the -50% Industry cost reduction of adjacent Districts works.

A district that takes 6 turns will take only 3 when placed next to the Mound.

Great for making a cluster of 7 Maker quarters, or for expensive ones like a Hamlet. You can even build over it to remake it in another location.

It does not work with Wonders of course.
