- Your user files located in ...\Documents\Humankind\Users

- The full Diagnostics. These are time stamped, and any time you close and relaunch the game, new ones are started. Please grab all diagnostics logs related to the session you were playing where the issue occurred.

Obviously since I deleted the "Documents/Humankind" folder at one point this will only have the diagnostics from after then. I was also experiencing this problem before then as well. But the issue occures in every session i try to launch

Of course I take the time to send the report. I am currently completely unable to play a game I have paid for and enjoyed. I want to be able to access it again

Thank you very much for your files. By any chance are you trying to create a new game using a custom map or do you have any custom map installed? If yes, could you send us this custom map? 

After doing so, you can try to remove it, either through mod.io or by deleting its folder in ...\Documents\Humankind\Community\mod.io

I am not trying to create a game using any custom map or mods. Just normal vanilla new game. 

I used to have a custom map installed a while ago, but removing that was the first thing I did, I have after that even deleted my entire \Documents\Humankind folder as well as reinstalled the game

Hello, I am having the exact same issue and have tried everything what rbk414 did, also with no luck.

Let me know if you want any of my files as well for further investigation since it seems like there is no solution found yet.

Are there any updates yet? There has to be problem with mods. Although I removed all mods and reinstalled the game, I still see the settings added by these mods when creating a new game. The diagnostics also show that the game is still trying to run commands for these mods.

I'm also having the exact same issue, have tried deleted all files in documents folder and have reinstalled, restarted, updated drivers etc. There are old game set up options from a mod I used a year ago and have since removed that are still present when setting up a new game. I have tried subscribing to the old mod and unsubscribing in an attempt to reset it but that didn't work. Since this has been going on for over 3 months on this Forum its not exactly looking hopeful. Surely there has to be some information, the game is quite literally unplayable because of this?

Removing the files steam keeps has fixed the issue! Thanks for your help, much appreciated :)
