It looks like you have 1 Research Quarter and 5 Scriptoriums (Scriptoria?) in that city, is that correct?  It looks like it, because from what I see,

• Your Research Quarter is producing -10 + 1 = -9 Stability
• Your 5 Sciptoria are producing (-10+1)x5 = -10+5 = -45 Stability

Most (if not all) districts that count as Research Quarters are -10 Stability.  Literalism doesn't change it from -10 to +1, it just adds +1 to the existing -10, so each would give you -9.
