For further investigation we'll need the following:

- On what platform you are playing on (pc steam/epic; mac steam/epic)
- Version and Build of the game the issue is occurring on;
- A save file at least two turns before the issue occurs;
- Yor diagnostics log - These are time stamped, and any time you close and relaunch the game, new ones are started. Please grab all diagnostics logs related to the session you were playing where the issue occurred. These are by default located: 

• PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Temporary Files.
  - Mac: This is hidden in the Libraries folder. You will need to do an internet search to find specific steps for your OS. Once the libraries folder is revealed, they are in user/library/ application support/humankind/Temporary Files
  
  - An output log. These can be found here:

• PC: This folder is hidden by default. You will need to reveal hidden folders (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files-0320fe58-0117-fd59-6851-9b7f9840fdb2 ) then navigate to: Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\AMPLITUDE Studios\Humankind

I have the same problem. The game got stuck at round 50 yesterday. After reinstalling the game, I get to round 47. After the update, the game is no longer playable

sorry to read you are encountering difficulties to play our game...

When openning our log and diagnostics I am seeing this error which seems to come from a "modding tool" (which I do not know sorry...).

Could you try to deactivate it and try again to see if it helps?

hmm, thats weird. I have checked files via steam for integrity, also i have reinstalled the game and deleted the user folder in documents. Who else are mods able to write files that are not getting deleted after reinstalling the game?

It's provided by "GameChange" which is an external program outside our own files/integrity. When you are check the "file integrity" on Steam, it will compare our "steam server based files" to your "local files". But if you have additional files in the folder (like gamechange seems to use) it should not removed them (It's a guess on my part, not an expert for this... sorry...)

Could you try to locate the GameChange exe and deactivate the mod? there is a tutorial on their website for this it seems: https://gc2021.com/showthread.php?tid=4

As safety reminder: This kind of mod are "Code injection based" and we are not supporting this as it is. Use it at your own risk! ;-)
