When I try to upload an image or save file I'm getting a "Parsing response failed." error. How do I fix this?

Quick question, what extension (png, jpg...) are you using and what size is the img?

It was a png. It was also huge at 5.8MB so that was the problem.

it was? so did you manage to include it in a lower resolution?
Try to reduce it if it doesn´t and for the save/diagnostic the best is to compress it with rar/zip

In the future, I'll save as jpg as that reduced the size below 1 mb.

The delay saved me submitting the report because you fixed the problem in the latest patch. :)
