The debug text is a known issue and it will be resolved soon.
Regarding the interaction with the IP, I cannot see from the screenshot, but there are two situations in which you cannot interact with them anymore: 1st if the lifespan is 3 or below; 2nd if you have attacked the IP.
If the reason is something else, please provide more information like better screenshots and save file :).
