Thank you for taking the time to send us this report. First it is as design that the Ashram exploit both the Food and Industry on adjacent tiles. 

Regarding its Faith production, it depends on how many adjacent districts there is. In your screenshot, it will start producing food once you have build any other districts around it.

I referred to the wiki page then I think the EQ only produces faith! It seems I need more time in the world of humankind :D.
