Please look at religion decision trees. While it's kind of funny how 'islands' can be isolated from an 'outside' religion the developers recently put out an event where you have to convert the entire globe. Which requires you to destroy any island cities. But the 'religion' doesn't have a capital or a centralized structure (which is also bullshit) and because the state decides everything for everyone anyway but the 'people' don't object except through events - they are voiceless. Actually yeah that's ... it. Final nail on the coffin. This event really made that clear. This game gives no shits about 'people'. Just yields. Maybe there is a real danger to socialism if you are so comfortable abstractly removing your agency from the people/masses in a video game. Do you really view yourself and your coworkers as input and output capacity? Are restroom breaks timed by efficiency studies.
