Just finished another game, I only have about 80 hrs on the game so I am no expert.

This time the AI was way ahead of me, like 5000 points ahead of me, however it would appear that the AI was just trying to get all 21 stars in every era.  When I reached the 4th era I was so far ahead of them on tech that I literally just went around and wiped them all out...tanks vs archers......

What was the AI thinking?

I just stepped up to a harder level and I am looking forward to my next game.

ps..I turn the turn limit off, is there anything else I should do to achieve a game where there is a goal, but will have lots of end of game techs involved?  I have never seen me plus the AI with a modern army.

Hey @airslo ,

Improving the AI is a continuous work from our team. It is true that there is a lot of factors there (I am not the expert on AI) but it is high probably that the AI decided to focus on the stars because that give you Fame and that is the determining factor to win the game.
Do not hesitate to share mor experience regarding the AI on the forum we created for that  (I am going to move the thread to that part of the foum) > AI FEEDBACK

thanks for the reply guys, and I must say you are getting close with the AI.  Again they where way ahead of me at the beginning, If they would have just started to prioritize some science I would have never caught up to them.

Does the AI get all of their "help" at the beginning of the game or do they get some at each era?  I should be mixed through out the game in my opinion.  That was the biggest problem in other games like this, once you caught up to the AI you knew you would win.

I think the efforts of the Humankind AI have been successful, in recent months.  Since the AI Fame patch, I'm seen a significant improvement in the AI's ability to generate Fame.  Great work, and thank you to you all.

Your other points addressed, I thought I would just confirm that if you want a sort of "endless" game where you can get to fully experience the contemporary era, the only option is to turn off all end game conditions except vassal and conquer conditions. 

Provided you haven't already beaten them all by the ending era, you can then battle it out for the win in the final era with modern techs.
