This is one of my favorite games I've ever played, it really makes me sad that I can't finish a game on console without it crashing. I play on Xbox series x, and I'm about 400 turns in, it seems to crash more when there is like a pop up, like a leader wants to talk to you or something. I'm not sure what causes the crashing most definitely late game. Can you please address this issue, the game has been out for a long time and I've had it waiting for an update. You guys update this game so we don't have crashes in the future? Thank you

It's because the Devs are scammers. They cash in on a product they know is fundamentally broken, and refuse to acknowledge it, because then they open themselves up to legal ramifications. They are just scammers, so learn your lesson and don't buy their products in the future.
