Map pins would be an excellent addition to the game. Planning cities, deciding what territories to claim, and army placement are all quite complex and it's easy to lose track of a plan when you have so many things to balance. City building is especially tricky if you want to maximize adjacencies. Map pins would be a great help in managing it all.

I concur, and was disappointed since the illustration of the terrain is so complex, and Natural Wonders don't stick out as in other games.

map pins would be a bandaid to fix the missing ability to show territory names and highlight territory boundaries so they are finally easily discerned


there are already 3 map pins, but these are not general purpose map pins where YOU enter the text

This is desperately needed. Planning cities or planning anything complex is difficult without pins to remind you, especially with long gaps between multiplayer sessions.
