contemporary era tech already has several buildings such as solar farm that reduce pollution. if all of them are built this reduces maker's quarters (industry district) pollution by 90 percent

the only game switch currently for pollution is to turn off too much pollution as an end game condition

I think there should also be a game slider for how much planting forests mitigates pollution. currently a new only forest only helps for 2 turns. instead have a game slider from 0 to infinite turns and a second slider for how much each new forest reduces pollution

it would also be useful to have a game slider for new games that scales the effects of pollution (say 0 to 200 percent). currently there is a strong incentive NOT to build factories, etc since they belch out too much pollution in comparison to the added industry they give you. by creating such a slider at lower pollution thresholds these buildings can once again be considered as viable
