It is not rare to suddently understand that another country is outperforming our ; often it can occurs because we find out that the ennemy is deploying technologicaly more advanced units. Moreover, when we are gauging the ennemy power using diplomacy, all we can get is a mere hint : the ennemy's forces are more, or less, or equally stronger than ours.
We need a better system to know the others empires's data, which otherwise can only be seen after the party, on the endgame diagrams.
Those datas must be won at a price, and not passively. In my opinion, it could be easily improved using the leverage mechanics via the embassady menu : for the price of leverage, there should be an option which allow us during this turn to see the diagram of an other empire (maybe on one data, or maybe on all ?) on comparison with ours.
It would reinforce the utility of espionnage and ambassady.
