I like the idea, but how would it work? Upvoting a thread would make it appear in the first page of the forum, or something like that? Wouldn't that flood the first page, in case a lot of threads are voted top?

I've also noticed how very good ideas become forgotten just because they passed to the third-and-beyond pages. Quite sad in a community that tries to build an epic game =/

But not direct in the forum because a forum should have the newst thread on top.

But a side like ideascale where you can submit the ideas and the will be voted to top or not

(maybe in categories and not all together) would be really nice

So, I've been lurking about a bit the last while, and am curious.



I see lots of ideas being mooted around the forums, some (I think) are good, others not so much. But I wonder, do the designers read the forums for these sorts of ideas? Even if they do, sometimes the volume is so great, it's easy for great ideas or important points to float off the bottom.



The forums are powered by vBulletin, and I know that mods exist for it to allow for 'likes' or 'upvotes', and I know that this is maybe the point of Games2Gether, but perhaps if there were a way to highlight ideas this may be of use?

I guess I really did not address the question in my first post. Anyways I believe that the voting system could be vastly improved by a like/dislike, upvote/downvote system. If we could see the spread of the votes so we could get feedback on what people think, I believe that we could dramatically improve the post quality.
