Hey guys,



When reseting the password it should be more secure to have an ephemeral link sent by mail in order to reset the password, instead of sending the plain-text password by mail.



Also, it worries me a bit. Are password saved as plain-text in the database or hashed with salt ? :/

OK, maybe I'm simply overlooking it but I can't seem to find anything in here that states whether we can have pictures in our "signature". Reason I'm bringing this up is because I've alsways been able to do this on every forum I've been on and I see no one here has signatures... aside from random text here and there. Heeeelllllpppp me prease!! XD

I think (haven't checked recently if we've changed any settings!) that only moderators/VIPs are allowed to have a picture in their forum signatures.

I was hoping to strat up a signature request thread, I'm in Photoshop ALL the time making tags for people when I'm not out to sea.

And has anyone ever tried to start a system/thread like this before?

The option wasn't available in your old posts because you've only just recently added a signature. So if you want it to show, you can edit your old post manually: edit post, go advanced, and tick the box "show your signature".

I just updated the OP (well, only post, really) in the thread for my EL palette mod, but after refreshing the page, the OP has disappeared. The thread's still there, but the post is gone. What happened?

When you reset your password, we actually generate randomly a new one, and send it to you via your email address.

Password are off course strongly hashed with salt in the database smiley: smile

We don't allow this unfortunately. You'll need to create a new account if you want your new name, but if you do so, you will lose your achievements, G2G points and awards.
