Not sure what's going on, back after a long break, looking into ES2 - and the new site looks great... but... my veteran elitist profile that I took such pitiful pride in is ripped to shreds.

Missing badges, missing bonus points for deluxe preorders whatever they were called, missing street cred forum/thread/views/upvotes points from previous instance of the site, missing points from special promotions.  There are so many things I've gathered on here since the site's opening that I don't even remember most of it.

How alpha is this alpha stage? Do you plan to obliterate rewards and "progression" from previous version of the forums? Will previous badges/rewards/titles/ranks transfer over? Do I have to link my steam profile? what was wrong with the codes we've already input before? Are you aware people generally would rather link their mothers to an external site rather than their steam accounts?

The reward system and points were clearly meant to encourage participation and give a sense of progression, but now that I see it wiped it is quite disillusioning.

What is the state of the site transformation into another stage, is this a mistake or is it intended? This info should pop up in your face the moment you open up this site for the first time, if you had an account active prior to that.

/edit: I've read up and I see how it works now, and it's a shame that the previous rewards will not transfer.
