Why does Amplitude ask for the "Update your user profile" permission?
It seems very unnecessary.

With the Twitch Drops being live again, this still-unanswered query is once again relevant.

Why does Amplitude request the 'Update your user profile' permission?
There does not appear to be any legitimate requirement for it, seeing as many other services can provide Twitch Drops and Rewards without it.

Alright, here is the truth: we messed up because we didn't know well how the twitch api works and the doc is sometimes a bit confusing on what is needed and what is not. We will NOT update your profile in any way and will remove this when we have some time soon.
