We also sort of have a scientist on board, if that's what you mean by an 'observer'. The scientist in question specializes in astrology and seems to be more of a dabbler in other fields, though, so if you want to make your 'observer' a specialist in another kind of science, like botany, biology, or geology, that might work too. I'm not a GM, though, so I can't say for certain.

That's watchstanding, and it's not a position, it's job which is done by whoever is the officer of the watch for that shift.

No problem. I've managed to play TF2 with a friend of mine on Australia's gold coast. A turn-based game like ES2 will be a cakewalk by comparison.

You cold be IT specialist, but I think the Chef engineer would be your superior.

Apparently, ES2 isn't gonna have multiplayer until the second or third patch. Still, if anyone's got ES1 and they want to go up against my hilariously broken custom race, I'm down.

Right, I added about 3 people now. It's excellent to see that all of them live in America or Canada.

There is indeed no dedicated IT specialist so far. And those abilities seem fine, as long as they are limited in range.

If so, here is my application:

Name: Martin Ladderman-Corvus

Personality: Curious, and open-minded introvert. Perfectionist in job, childish in everyday life.

Bio: Martin was an only child from an old lineage of Imperial nobles. However, a few decades before his birth, the family lost most of wealth. Despite that, young Martin learned well and was very talented in IT. Unfortunatly, when he was 16, his parents decided that he is old enough to start helping family and made him to drop out of school. Nobody wanted to employ him due to age, so in desperation Martin enlisted to army and he was sent to commanding cruiser ''Dragoon''. There, he participated in campaign against Deuyivans. After a few weeks, ''Dragoon'' was caught in an ambush. While the ship was falling into the gas giant's atmosphere, he was exposed to Dust. Thanks the skills he gained there, he was able to steal Deuyivan boarding vessel and return to base. 

After the war, Martin trained controlling the Dust abilities and learned about the Endless, which awoken his curiosity. He started to search for any sign of the Endless' machinery to find out, why the Dust was created. Then, he heard about the ''Saviour'' and its expedition.

P.S. I know that my character is human and on photo I have a Lumeirs. I just couldn't find a photo of a human with an outfit that fits my picture of Martin.

Sorry, but English is my second language. I forget to write it somewhere. Actually, I am always forgetting about something important.

As for picture, I found something more fitting:
