I recently unlocked the infirmary ship and played through a game with it. I then went back to play a game with the original ship and nearly all of the items had been replaced with those 'side effect' items. I'm not quite sure if this was a bug, or maybe just by chance.

Oh, and my game version is 0.8.5

I can't provide a save or screenshot because my game crashed after recruiting two heroes, which I posted about here: /#/dungeon-of-the-endless/forum/54-tech-support/thread/18102-crash
