The new patch added an icon above the bot when it can be upgraded. I drilled a shard and upgraded the bot but now it shows the upgrade icon when there is no upgrade.

Step by step of the bug
Step 1
Found an upgrade shard on the very first floor
Step 2
Drilled the upgrade and returned the bot to it's first socket
Step 3
Upgraded the bot
Step 4
Moved bot to the last door
Step 5
Started new zone on same floor and the bit has the upgrade icon above it's head
Step 6
There is no upgrade so posted bug report on Discord and here!

after some testing i found out how to cause this, if you take the "eat your carats" chip this bug will happen
