This time I started at the devotion garden with Comrade, Blaze, and Cartie. It was about 8-10 seconds before the UI faded. I was alt-tabbed during the loading screen.

After completing level 1 [Devotion Garden], the crew [Sweeper, Bunker, and Blaze] walk on to the elevator. Before I can select which floor to go to [I guess it was maybe around 30 seconds?], the UI disappears and they walk off the elevator. Left click causes the screen to shake, but no other input does anything that I can tell [besides escape to open the menu].
