Yes, we will be adding it in ES2. But on a following update we will be working with the community (similar as the latest update)

Cannot yet share a lot of details. But we will have a dedicated blog to talk a bit more about Tidefalls
I saved the thread to see if we could give you some answers directly in the blog (no promises).
Daarkarrow, in Simple - Advanced - Expert Game Settings

CalmBreakfast wrote:One area where Endless Legend with ELCP stands out is the range of options available when setting up a new game. In most 4X games you have a basic options menu with minimal features and an โadvancedโ mode that is often underwhelming. Mods tend to fill the gap by offering โexpertโ settings, but the reliance on mods often leads to issues when updates break them. An elegant solution would be for the developers to integrate these settings directly into the game.
For instance, letโs say the mapโs maximum elevation is set to 5 during world generation. Why not allow us to experiment by setting it to 20 instead? Or what if we want each region to be massive, so give us the option to specify a numerical value, like "300 = extra huge," and add 10 minor faction villages to each region? Experimenting would be fun even if the AI would have a hard time to keep up.
Other potential adjustments could include things like how many technologies need to be researched to advance to the next era, or tweaking the difficulty of victory conditions. For example, perhaps the last five scientific breakthroughs needed for victory could require 200% more science to unlock. The same could apply to gold, diplomacy points, or even the number of territories an alliance needs to control for a win. There could also be military modifiers, such as making cities 50% stronger or weaker, or a specific unit type. The possibilities for settings are endless.
While these examples might not be perfect, I believe that once youโve invested a few hundred hours into the game, having access to these quirky settings would improve replayability tremendously. The UI doesnโt need to be overly fancy for this; a simple list organized into categories would be enough.
If the concern is scaring off new players, the solution could be to hide these "expert" settings behind an option in the game settings that is disabled by default.
If this is not optimal then please expose as much as possible for mod making. An example for wacky maps for Endless Legend is the World Generator Full Customization mod
tldr; giving players more customizable game / map / world / faction settings leads to a richer gameplay experience.
At this moment, we have the "simple" and "advanced" settings in the game, but I could imagine that once you see the different options, you would be able to tell us if you think we are missing a specific setting you would like to have.
But I noted the feedback you already provided

It is a bit early to say, but we plan to have mod support for the full release (not Early Access). But the when is not fixed in stone, will depends on several factors.

We sent emails for those that will be joining the program this month (today they will be able to play) and also for the next build in march.

Nop, we just informed people that get accepte. We only sent the key the moment we release the new builds.
Daarkarrow, in Like EL1, give us a game's manual... Please

The issue I have with EL combat is you can auto-resolve or fight it manually. But if you are going to let me fight it manually, then let me do it. The automated orders felt like a hybrid solution that wasn't quite satisfying (though it was original). But very curious to find out what all of you think.
Daarkarrow, in My hopes in regards to what I feel is one of EL1's largest weaknesses.

I cannot confirm the number of units but all factions will have their own units and will share similar archetypes, like having X ranger on Y faction and then having something similar on another faction, but different. In the end, we will try that the units of factions feel different in their own way.
Difficult to explain without the details ๐
Also, you will count with minor units, that have their units that could synergize with your current game/playstyle,

Hopefully we'll see a few returning factions and a few new ones as well. I for one hope the Vaulters are represented again but I'm not going to be too picky. Already signed up for the Insiders program, hopefully I will get accepted.
Crossing fingers for the Insider program! ๐ค
We cannot wait to share more and more about the game.

We are trying to have the same essence as EL1 but also to try to innovate and bring ideas from other titles, like the full control of units from Humankind
