That's intentional. The devs have said that no traits or building enhance fungal bloom output, and that is by design.

The 'spy on overgrown cities' was confirmed by the devs as a bug:

Unkans and Ice interactions are just weird, I count it as a bug.....

Drowned Urkan

That is interesting. You killed a mighty urkan, feel proud.

EDIT: Tried out myself, they don't seem to come back.. They die permanently.

Seems a bug to me, Urkans shouldn't be allowed to go on ice.

Savefile: Mykara - Kill the Urkans.sav

EDIT2: Even more interesting, you can put the mighty Urkan on a ship if you reserched shipyard already before the end of the winter...

You don't need to destroy the fungal bloom in order to complete village quests. You can click on the parley button on the Actions Window. This is I dunno if is intended or not.

Minor Faction

I just took a look at your save, and the source and solution of the problem are pretty straightforward:

The village has a fungal bloom on it, and you can not Parley with villages that have a fungal bloom on it. If you remove the bloom, you can finish the quest. Of course, that means having to regrow the bloom, so you'll have to make a choice here what's more valuable to you.

I know that this post is 1 month old but I would like to know if things still like this.

Fungal Bloom are just confusing atm, I don't know what to do or what I can't do when they are on the map.

I loaded the save file from the OP and if you double click on the village to complete the quest nothing will happen, but if I select Parley action from the action windows and then the village I can complete the quest without the need to remove the fungal bloom...

Is there a post or a guide anywhere about those fungal blooms?????

Cultists AI (I dunno about human) can convert a village on a fungal bloom under construction

Fungal Bloom on a converted village or should I say... converted village on a fungal bloom?

DayStalker wrote:

I had the situation when I built a fungal bloom on a pacified village, but it seems that before the construction is complete the AI Cultist converted that same village, so they could still spawn minions out of it. In order to destroy it I had to first destroy my fungal bloom and then I was able to destroy the cultist's village.

I am sorry, initially I overlooked this fact so I didn't keep the save file. I just would like to know if this mechanic is intended or not.

I will try to play another game that has this situation.

EDIT1: I just found out using the the command attack on the Actions windows you can destroy the village without removing the fungal bloom. Still would like to know if it is working as inteded

And another village in the same region:

EDIT2: Found the savefile

Mykara - Turn 81.sav

Shake your foundations basically impossible

Disagree with that, I have completed that achievement...

Very good Thread! Hoping that the bugs get adressed soon. EL ist such a great game. Without these bugs it would be even more awesome!

After the release of yesterday's patch, I've heard some concerns from the community. I wanted to let you know that we are working on another patch, but we are not ready to release it yet. That patch will also include some balancing, but I can't talk about specific changes yet.

Thanks for the update. I was a little concerned too because I know this was your last DLC and I was a little nervous that was the last patch too.

More bug fixes too right?

YEs, of course there will be more bugfixes, including some of the big issues (e.g. the Forgotten Urkan screen), but they were not ready for public release with the last patch. However, given that the last patch included the fix for the "Mac 100 Minute Crash" and some other notable fixes, we did not want to hold those back until everything else is ready.
