Had a ball there, I was playing as Necrophages (Scotterday).

I definitely learned some lessons! Pay closer attention to other players Diplo status, noticing pink and green were allied would've helped me realize Rook was solely focused on me.

I should've teched about 10 turns earlier into Tier 2 weapons/armor. I picked up armor about 3/4 into that war with Rook.

The ranged unit initiative stack meta is strong- I'm still convinced proper application of necrodrones can be affective. I think I held my own there fairly well? Eh, for my first time at least

Beware the hero with ranged slayer!

Get slightly faster at settling. I lost a settler to minor faction roaming army initial spawn, even though it was escorted. Hurnas just shot right past my guys, right past them. I probably shouldn't have pushed for a third army unit before first settler.

I've got to say though, I had a blast! I especially enjoyed having to carve my own awkward little front out into the world. I had three cities out linearly because Rook there settled offensively into my space. Perhaps next time I'll try sidestepping his army and going after his cities, instead of maximum defense mode.

Yeah, I second the idea of a second server if need be.

Regardless, I'm totally going to be there. Perhaps I'll be cheering my own death along, but I'll be there!

I'd love to get in on this this week (10/14). I get off of work at 5 pm Pacific witch is your start time so I will be a little late. Stick an AI in the game and I'll take it over. No preference on Race, I'll play any.

It's just a marker to note that the game is associated with the Steam group. Games in the EL lobby are always marked "Player's Game".

Hey Scotterday! Glad you enjoyed the game, I felt the same way when I first played. I learned some more lessons too, actually I should have listened to you from the start, prob would have been in a better situation to deal with cultist. But by the time they made it to me (on the complete other side of the map!) it still prob would not have mattered. I think for the necros to be effective it is all about spam. cheep, lightly armored high damage drones with forages as meat shields and future food supplies

(you get stockpiles from your own troops as well). I prob would have been less aggressive to you, but that show of force meant that you were going to attack now, or going to attack later. In my mind I thought I had the advantage, so before you were able to mass a brigade necrodrones I figured i had to attack you first. Definitely gg though, you put up one hell of a fight! I will host the initial game @ 7:00 PM Central tonight ( click here for your local time ). If anyone volunteers (please Steam Chat me) to host the second game, we will start with two servers and combine if there are less than 8 total players. We can also, split into more servers if there are more than 16.

If you want to play and the game is full, please post a message in the EL Multiplayer steam group chat, or send me a PM and I'll do my best to find a spot for you.
