Possible, sure. You'd need to learn modding though. It isnt that hard, but requires some legwork from you. Your best starting point is the modding channel of the official amplitude discord. There is also the modding tutorial:tutorial-modding.pdf

Hello! Just made an account to say thank you for this patch. I was getting pretty annoyed by the untouchable urkans issue when someone pointed me here. Seeing all the other fixes and improvements you made also looks great!

Sorry if this has been answered already. If I wanted to disable the part where Hero-level up notification is automatically closed after already leveling up the Hero, how do I do that? Reason being is it makes the notification sound twice in a row (minor, I know) but it's a little annoying and was hoping to avoid that.


Also well done on the patch! I was hesitant at first but it's really quite nice, and bring the game together a bit more!

Being an Elder Scrolls and Fallout fan, you'd think searching for community patches for everything would be instinct for me. I had no idea this even existed, but I'm glad it does. You should consider creating a "dummy mod" (empty mod) page on the Steam Workshop that hosts a link to this thread in the description.

For those using a 1920x1080 monitor, this custom UI scale works very well. I tested a bunch and this seems to work best:

--uiScale=1.32 --fontScale=0.9

It is between the base game large and small. I find it just right, more inline with Endless Space 2 UI.

@LeaderEnemyBoss What are the default numbers for the UI scale, for like base game, for reference? This way I know where to go with the numbers. Is the uiScale=1.00 and fontScale=1.0 for default?

I honestly dont know as the source of the mod isnt by me and I never use the feature myself. The only thing I do know is that uiScale needs to be larger (about 1.5 times) than fontScale, so its possible that 1.5 and 1.0 are the base values.

Those numbers sound about right, if I set my uiScale=1.32, it was scaling down from the largeness. 

I do love the mod feature, because the base game Large UI is too huge and if I turn it off, it is too tiny. This new feature helps me find a middle ground and not lose to small fonts. I am glad this is not an issue in ES2, they did it right there.

I had to Shackle the AI. The game I was playing was 8 players and the equivalent map size for it. One AI, who was at peace with me, made tons of AI units with large 8 stacks of them. The AI was the Cultist. This was around 160 turns. 


It seemed like the AI was bored a lot and would just move his units all the time, causing me stutter. The AI seemed to move units constant and would move one stack multiple times. I finally had to end the game, he was roaming his units so much from two continents. He caught out my units on neutral ground and settler and attack them, because he wanted too and had many units all over the map, it was kind of insane how many units he had out. The other AIs did not seem to have as many units as the Cultist did in this game, the other AI had about the same as me.

If a new DLC or patch releases, ELCP will have to be updated aswell. It typically takes about 1 to 3 days for me to release an updated version. If you dont want to wait that long you can uninstall ELCP, verify the game files in steam and play on vanilla instead. Note: the new DLC will come out in february, so there is still a bit time.

Any chance that at least some of the great work done in ELCP will make it to the base game, now that another DLC is imminent?

I do have good contact to the community team, and some of my bugfixes do reach the eyes of the devs. They have been included in past patches, and I assume some of them will also be in the upcoming DLC-Patch. But I dont know how many and which of them. And ofcourse only bugfixes will be transferred, any balance, design or AI changes wil probably never make their way from ELCP to vanilla.
