"Patch 1.8.44 introduced another severe bug that prevented quests that spawn Armies/Units to do just that under certein conditions. Allayi Chapter 1 and Forgotten Chapter 1 are the most commonly reported instances. This new beta adresses the issue."

The same happens with ardent  mages quest - after parleying with two minor factions and going to indicated ruins the Units  do not spawn. Is this bug also fixed?

PS You are doing a great job with ELCP. Thanks a lot!

Apologies! Actually there WAS a bug in ELCP that caused this issue. Fixed with the new beta (see below). Ongoing quests in old saves cant be fixed though.

Yes, all quests that spawn armies were potentially affected.

Its an exe file that copies random stuff into your folders, not all antivirus programs like this obviously. Use (and scan) the zip file if that feels saver for you.




New Beta released


  • Updated Filebase to vanilla version 1.8.45 (several minor background changes) 
  • Implemented proper fix for connection issues with multiplayer saves 
  • Fixed an ELCP bug that caused some of the new MT quests not to work properly ... whoops

Thanks for the hard work you've done on this mod. I find a little bug here: mycara's custom factions without "overgrown cities" can't destroy captured cities even after gaining full ownership on it.

Besides i think that waiting for 13 moves before being able to destroy the captured city is too much. 3 more than enough. it would be great if the mod added the ability to adjust the amount of influence needed to destroy or at least to turn of this: "Players can now only dismantle buildings if they have full ownership over a (recently conquered) city". Sorry if the comment seemed to you grammeless or disrespectful, I used google translator when writing it, so I could not express myself quite accurately.

Just wondering... the notes in the first post say Mac users need a Mac-specific Zip, but in the new beta post, there are only links for exe and zip. What do Mac users do? I am about to install for the first time.

Hi, I've got the newest beta and updates and all, the Kapaku Golems don't appear when trying to customize their weaponry and you cannot exit the menu from there and must ALT-F4 to get out of it. The Forgotten units seem to have their mist elements shaded pink and before this newest beta patch you couldn't right-click a unit's portrait to customize them but that's been fixed with the beta. Thank you for your effort and ability, ELCP is the best way to play Endless Legend!

This is user mode territory and can be done by anyone. Will never be part of the ELCP package.

There currently is no mac beta but I plan to release one soonish (today or tomorrow)

This is currently a vanilla bug in multiplayer games where the host shares DLC (I assume thats what you are playing). There was an official patch yesterday that probably overwrote parts of elcp. Reinstall the newest ELCP version and everything should work. If not: send a save where the issue is reproducable.

New Beta released


  • Fixed the Skyfin of "Majestic Creatures" always being awarded to the first empire
  • Implemented runtime volcanization for custom maps (like Auriga) so Kapaku can start in volcanic regions
  • Fixed missing tile IDs rendering custom maps unusable, this should make some older custom maps from the workshop work again (coded by community member Xephi-Zero)

New Beta released

(quicker than expected ...)

  • Fixed a bug where certain units wouldnt display their Textures/Models correctly when the player doesnt have the Monstrous Tales DLC  
    • This also led to unit designs of the affected units not being alterable, therefore its a critical issue

The Eye of the Hurnas quest fails before the 20 turns are up. I think it worked on earlier betas. I'll try to get some savegames tomorrow.

The Wild Walker main quest "Building the Future" doesn't complete no matter what I try - using ELCP V2.6.5.

(Note I have not tested this without ELCP but I thought it best to report it nevertheless)

Not necessary, I already have other reports of that bug and have fixed it in my internal build.

ELCP 2.6.5 is outdated, there were many bugs in the MT patch, please try the latest beta (it may not fix ongoing quests though).


EDIT:

Scratch that, I had a look at your save, there is indeed a (really old) vanilla bug in that quest that occurs sometimes. I can fix it in ELCP, sadly I cant fix it for your save retroactively. However I do have "ways" to force quest completion manually. I have taken the liberty of forcing the quest to complete for you so you can continue your save (you do need to update ELCP to 2.6.6 though).

Thank you so much! That was the second campaign in a row gettign that bug and I just want to get this wonder victory achievemnt and be on my way so thank you again!

  • The MT-Quest "Legends Of Old" should no longer end prematurely 
  • The MT-Quest "Wildfire" will no longer appear at the start of the game, additionally reduced the Titant Bones requirement for a peaceful solution 
  • Fixed an old vanilla bug with Chapter 4 of the Wild Walkers main quest line, which sometimes rendered the quest unsolvable
