Mod updated for "Guardians" ! smiley: wink



I uploaded it there : Nexus Mod





Here is the changelog :



v2 changes : What's new ?



-A totally new unit featured for every factions : Militia unit !

-Army size cap increased by 2 (Big Army Trait lvl 2 to every factions)

-Broken Lords have now more useful traits



Everything compatible with Guardians extension and last update !



PS : WARNING, THIS MOD DO NOT INSTALL LIKE NORMAL MOD, SEE THE MAIN THREAD FOR INSTALLATION

Fixed the problem i had it was because i was using the clarity mod at the same time so i copyed the sim files(from this mod) into the sim files of the clarity mod and overwote one file and it activates the mod ingame without any issues and both mods work.

I have tried both methods of installing this mod(copying into community and copying the two xmls into simulation)and the first method crashes before loading the mod and second method gives me an error evey couple of turns(but works).

This is the error i recieve.

Also the first turn is winter but only affects traits e.g living towns isn't active on turn 1 however units still have full movement and vision and the mod itself seems to work.This may be down to the latest patch but i have no idea.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

So when I play as broken lords I'm no longer able to heal, there is no selectable option to purchase restores with dust. Anyone else encountered this?

Hey guys,



I have experienced the crashes as well.



Now if some of you are only interested increasing the number of models per unit, you can do so by just editing the base XML files. Change SimulationDescriptors[UnitSize].xml to look like this:

































































The NumberofPawns is what defines the amount of models per unit.

Hmm well this mod has alot of issues to launch. I usually copy the file and I do not use mods.



I'll try to see what is wrong here.

There appears to be 'problems' when trying to play as the shadows.

Edit: Posted this before your comment appeared (because i hadn't refrshed the page) lol

Edit 2: Any idea on when you plan on buying shadows so i will know when the mod is compatible

Hi Kingsguard,



I would really like to try out your mod but it doesnt seem to work? If I activate it from the mod list the game crashes, if I copy the files directly into the Simulation Folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Endless Legend\Public\Simulation) it seems to have no effect at all, weapon selection for all units is always the same as Vanilla... any advice?

Well this mod would have no purpose then xD



Maybe you only want the additional models ?



Then delete the UnitBodyDefinition and here you go ! smiley: smile



To all the others who are interested in the weapons unlocked, I released a hotfix for the Rage Wizards (cuz the 2handed weapons models were looking quite weird..).

So now they can bear Spears, Claws and all the 1H weapons (+shield !). And it looks much better !

This mod simply unlock all the weapons for melee units and increase number of model per units.



Missing 2 handed warhammers for your Stalwarts ? Spears ? Axes ? Willing Dawn Officers with swords ?

This mod is your weapon rack !

And even better, you will now have 12 model in most of the basic units like Vaulters Marines or Wild Walkers Rangers. It makes battles much more epic !




Note : Some units (large units like Urces or Silics or the base Ardent Mages unit) can only bear 2-handed weapons so I couldnt add more than all the 2 handed weapons. But its already much better than before..

I hope this image is attached and shows that a 'serious error' occured (however it doesn't do anthing) it's kind of annoying and may have some implication and do something later game however i haven't played that much (it also has nothing to do with the shadows FACTION but probably is something to do with the EXPANSION because it never happened before).

It worked wonders, I'm sorry that I never replied, I went to try it out and forgot to post here. Thanks a lot, I loved the mod and I've been using it all this time, but now I bought Shadows and I'm not sure if it'll work or break the game, is the mod still compatible with Shadows? Can I keep using the file you gave me in the recent version?




Basicly yes, it shall work (and perfectly with Vanilla). But if you bought the expansion (I havent), the new faction will be broken and impossible to play with (they will have no units defined). Still you can play the game.



Also, remember that if you update your game, you will have to install the mod again because most of the mods files you once copied are gonna be overwritten (well maybe not but I think most of them shall be...)



I shall update this for Shadow as soon as I buy it !
