I recently tried updating the software on my intel i5 and setting the graphics into performance mode (as opposed to quality) no difference except for fewer polys on the unit models. So I don't think its a driver issue if anything... although I do notice that everyone seems to be using an intel...

I also have these bugs, also with intel HD graphics. Maybe someone with switchable graphics could try out if the problem disappears when using the second graphics card?

Experiencing the same issues here.

Laggy Welcome Screens: confirmed Wild Walkers and Drakken only. Effects whole machine even when tabbed out to other programs but does not show any appreciable impact on resources in task manager. Does disappear when entering a game.

Fog of War: Inconsistent behavior. Visibility of resources, minor factions and anomalies that should be under fog is inconsistent, changing range and level of detail between games. Not consistent in all directions either; for example I might be able to see more detail on the right than on the left of my starting position. However, do always see the AI players city tiles in their colours.

Enabling/disabling DLC didn't effect the issues for me. Nor did playing with every video setting I could find!

Spec and Output Log attached.

Good luck! smiley: smile

Same exact issues here. I have an intel card as well (seems a number of people that have the issue do).

The other thing is that evrything worked fine when i had windows 7 - but then i had a clean version without DLC's, when i upgraded to windows 10 and added DLC's the problems started.

I booted up the game again just to fiddle around with settings some more, noticed that my main menu was really laggy. It was the drakken background. The background was laggy and there were noticeable delays whenever I would click on something.

Might be just a coincidence, but since people couple the problems together I should mention I'm now experiencing it too.

We have managed to reproduce the issue of missing FOW on a spare laptop using an Intel HD Graphics. We are working on a fix.

I've attached my specs. Intel HD Graphics. I do not have one of those systems with a second, more powerful graphics card. I played Endless Legend with this setup since it first came out without issues, and only this latest patch has presented any trouble.

Aaand some more: the main screen (what we usually call "outgame view") lag has been repro'd too and we're working on fixing that one too. No ETA on said fix.

Any update on this? The FOW issue is pretty game breaking and seems to be affecting a lot of people with intel cards. Hoping for a hotfix for this as the only workaround I can think of is buying a new graphics card...

Not to be a bother, but I'm also wondering.

I haven't really played at all since the update and I'm itching to see how the new ai plays.

I'm sure it's an annoying problem to fix on your end, but is there any prediction as to when we could expect to see a hotfix for this?

This is actually something we've identified and reproduced fairly quickly, we've tentatively fixed it and are now testing the hotfix. No promises as to the estimated time to fix deployment, but we'll keep you updated! smiley: smile
