The Vaulters. Nice art, nice background, nice features. They can build strong cities in early eras, have balanced units and lead the rush through eras. They also got the best faction trailer and audio theme <3.

But after Cultists I like Roving Clans and the Drakken equally. Can't decide which faction I like more.

In the end the only factions I'll end up playing the least are Wild Walkers and Necrophages. Even though I appreciate them all.

Roving Clans because I usually do not declare war anyway. The world is made of love and peace! V



After that I guess ardent mages just for that ranged unit that does the fire rain and the general pain to magic lore.



In general though I love how asymmetric the factions are. I have played everything so far except broken lords and I enjoyed them much. I am also waiting for the cultists they could become my fav faction because I love tall empires more than wide and that is like the definition of a tall empire.

You know I'm really on the fence about Cultists. Played Venice in Civ5, wasn't really for me. There's a very shadow-cartel secret-society stuff to it but I just can't feel powerful without a delicious helping of zone control.

The Cultists do not play like a shadow cartel in Endless Legend, they are much more direct in their approach...

I've only played as Drakken and the Vaulters so far. Visually and flavour-wise I prefer the Vaulters, but I like the diplomatic focus of the Drakken. While the influence system is a great idea and well implemented, once you've got all the treaties and stuff set up there isn't that much to do with it. I look forward to it maybe being expanded upon in future patches or expansions.

i really like roven clans, vaulters and wild walkers. i am a peaceful player unless being looked down upon or on having a big threatening faction next to me ^^



i HATE playing the broken lords and am not fan of the necrophages.

and a bit indifferent about the ardent mages ^^

Well, that's a very hard choice since every faction is unique, carefully designed and brings something special to Endless Legend .It's funny that my favourite faction depends mainly on my mood. smiley: smile I love to play the Necrophages when I'm frustrated and wish to kill things. When I feel relieved and relaxed, I tend to use the Drakkens or the Roving Clans.

Ultimately I love playing the Drakken. I am a peaceful player and I love the "learn all the histories and guide the lesser folk into the future" theme that comes across so well in gameplay. Very Big Picture faction. Plus having a tanky army of dragons is great for putting down anyone who isn't willing to play nice. Ardent Mages and Wild Walkers are tied for second.
