Can someone explain to me how the new fortification works?



I just had a battle where i had 7 units defending against the AI. The battle lasted all 6 rounds and i only lost 2 militia. After the battle my city went from full fortification to 0 fortification. Is it supposed to work that way? Lose a militia and lose all fortification?

Caotico09, what about your other units? Where they fortified in a city? Did they lose their "fortification" health or did they not have any to begin with?

When units lose all their Fortification (Life) bonus in battle, then, it is normal that City Fortification is impacted, because both Fortifications are now considered as the same.

It also means that capturing a city makes you start regenerating from 0 the Fortifications of your new conquest.
