AFAIK, they're stronger during winter than in summer. Therefore, eternal winter should benefit them ...

Isn't it... like every 4x game, really? At least for people who, like myself, kinda just starts with them - I didn't know which side of HUD I should grasp.

It's always about going through pain of understading many aspects to start playing, at least I see it that way.

The new elements are pretty straight forward, so it shouldn't be too overwhelming for newbies. That said, the tutorial is probably in need of an update.

i really like their design, their wings remind me of butterflies but their face reminds me of bats.

though with another faction mechanic like the winter affects enhancements added to the game as well i'm afraid there will be too much to do attend to in the game which might scare of beginners to the 4x genre and this beautiful game.

i played it wile in early access so i got to learn it all ass it was added.

but i love the idea of a faction that gets stronger during the winter instead of the summer. they will be like a plague expending like crazy each winter but then almost next to not at all during the summer. though you would have to find some way to balance the beginning of the game if you go with that.

Without giving too much away, lest an assassination contract on my head be signed, it's going quite well.

There are bugs, of course, and many place holders. But we are getting a taste of the new mechanics involving pearls and of the Allayi. I think their playstyle is quite interesting and different, both tactically and strategically
